Last night was the first night of Passover. My husband dropped a piece of matzah on the floor, and Oberon ran for it and ate it before we could pick it up. For those of you who don't know, the cardboard box the matzah comes in is tastier . . .
 
Oy! My Lacey is a nice Jewish girl and loves matzah, so does Milo.

Haag Sameiach. I hope you had a wonderful Seder last night and will have one more tonight!

Matzah is delicious in desserts- covered in a salted date caramel and chocolate, or soaked in wine/grape juice and covered in chocolate like an icebox cake. There may be a theme there :lol:

(my trainer's dogs love manure and hoof trimmings so there's no accounting for their taste)

Savannah is my taste tester...she thinks everything belongs in her mouth. The more pungent the odor the better. I am always taking things out of her mouth. I am not sure if she wants to eat it, or just gnaw on stuff. I'm convinced it is all about texture...but she really likes bugs-the gooey centers after the initial crunch -:ick..if she ever catches a bumble bee-look out...
 
My experience has been that if you give your dog the best foods, he won't stand for anything less.

That is an interesting (and seemingly logical hypothesis), however, if that IS true, how would one explain dogs who are fed quality diets (raw, premium prepared, etc.,) but their owners have to race them to stop them from eating poo (their poo - other dog's poo, rabbit, dear, even roo poo, etc., etc., etc.,)?

I'm not quite sure how to take this. We feed Oberon Merrick, which as far as I know is a high-quality food. Are you trying to insinuate this isn't good enough?
