Ah poor Zak. Hope he is doing better this evening. Pacing and restless can be a sign of GI upset or some other discomfort. Hard to tell what it is without looking at him. But as he got a different treat, I'm thinking an upset stomach.
Pumpkin is good for either consipation or diarrhea. It bind up the stool or helps push it along.
Both Ember and Diva had GI issues last night- Ember diarrhea and Diva vomiting(dry heaves). Lots of pacing here. I don't know what caused it. Everyone else is fine. I thinking the cheese they got at agility Weds night. Both are doing better today.
He ate his dinner fine and has played today with Maggie. Pee'd and pooped as normal. He has been a bit restless again tonight, like he is looking for something.
Right now he has layed down beside the chair.
This is a little weird...Riley was also up really late night last night pacing around and around and around. He wouldn't stand still or sit and would only lay down briefly. Normal poops and pees though. His little tummy felt quite firm, so we figured he had gas or something from training treats that day.
Maybe they knew other Shelties were also having ouchy tummies. It's definitely weird that they all had tummy issues the same night huh?
He did fine last night. I did wonder once or twice but he went to bed with us and was okay. Then at some point started barking at something and I pulled him over me and he went to sleep with his paws touching me. I could feel his feet quiver. NOW me it took a while for me to sleep, I kept waiting for him to wander. Plus Mark was snoring.
Odd that DPSheltie was doing the exact same thing. I will say that Zak's poop seem's to be drier so I will get some canned today to add a tablespoon to his food. Thanks everyone. Dr. Shelli thanks for you being her and the pm. Hope Diva and Ember are feeling better.
