Zulu Has Crossed The Bridge

I am so sorry, how heart-breaking.

What a wonderful life he had with you, he truly found his family. It sounds like his final days were exactly how he would have wanted them to be.

I'm so sorry to read this Riky. It's much harder when they are with you 24/7 as they become part of everything you do. Don't have any regrets, you gave Zulu the best life possible and I bet if you had asked him he wouldn't have changed anything! Thinking of you all and Monty and I are sending hugs :hugs

It's amazing how much space and liveliness a medium sized dog can take up. The house I'm sure seems eerily quiet. Even with other dogs in the house there is a real void when one leaves. I'm sorry for your heartache.
After Dow the pre-sheltie died I found squeak balls for months. Every time I went to Mom and Dad's I was handed one or two. I did not realize how constant the sound was until it stopped
