I love the post regarding Checkers hearing the Jingle Bell Barking Song, leaping from a sound sleep to another room to join in the song. I could just visualize it. Too cute and very funny too. Reading that made my day. Thanks for sharing. Please give Checkers a hug and a treat for that from me!

Was this done last year......how about a photo contest for all of us......our shelties in their Halloween constumes. Not sure who to get judge it, but it could be very funny. We basically have a month to make our pets costumes.

Just quick, how do I get back into the rules and policies of the forum. I can't think that I would ever break one, but I would like to read over them. The last thing I would want to do is to offend this wonderful group who has helped me so much these past weeks.

I see you are from Western CT. We are wanting a new pup around January. Cleveland came to us from a Sheltie Rescue in GA (we were so lucky, because he was just the best dog ever). We are a bit lost on how to restart this process. This I can tell you, we are campground managers (here in CT) and we have our winters at home. We want to get a pup this year (Jan 2010) and then we want to get another one the following year (Jan 2011), so we would like to get to know a good breeder in the general New England area. Any recommendation would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Ann! Sorry for the delay -- I'm at a conference in Las Vegas, of all places! No, none of mine paced at all. In fact, they all acted perfectly normal, which is a change since with Frontline, Bits really got lethargic. Try rubbing Pixie down with a paper towel to absorb any excess. I'll bet it's mostly the smell, but still I'd look closely at her skin and her eyes to see if she's reacting at all.
