    Sheltie Song

Clancy was named for the song "Clancy lowered the boom" Oh, that Clancy, Oh that Clancy Whenever they got his Irish up, Clancy lowered the boom!

    New Things to Learn!

So far, Clancy has made it very clear that he feels metal dumbbells are an abomination upon this earth! :ick With the help of the clicker and some tasty weiners he will at least pick it up and hold it - with a look of pure torture on his face! I guess it'll be a while before we even get...

    Counter Surfers

My collies had their CSE titles (Counter Surfer Extraordinaire). Clancy's not bad, mostly I think due to lack of opportunity - and that he's much smaller than my collies  Sometimes they were so good at it that it was just downright impressive. We were defrosting a whole chicken one day...

Sheltie or a Miniature Collie - the great debate!

Well, I've had three collies and one sheltie and the Timmy in the well scenario describes it nicely! My collies were not as driven to *always* be doing something as my sheltie. I refer to my sheltie as my little ADHD child whereas my collies were more 'hey, you're relaxing now?! Great idea...

Look at this cutie in Toronto!

Look, it's a 'mini-sheltie'! Although to be fair, he seems to be using it as a descriptor :wink2: What a little sweetie. Too bad she's so far away :( http://iwantapounddog.blogspot.ca/2012/12/foxy-sheltie.html

    Great T-Shirt

My husband has been complaining that a lot of his weekend t-shirts are getting worn out. So I bought him this one for Christmas. Agility Widower He's so not going to be amused!!!!

How do you rate your contacts?

Hmm...let me know if that works. Agility is fine but my nerves are our downfall during obedience trials :ick! A friend told me she put a martini in her travel mug before a trial once, hoping it would help her relax. She still bombed at the trial but she felt so good from the martini that she...

    Our runs from this weekend

Great videos. He just flies around that course! I don't think time is ever going to be his enemy :biggrin2: Your daughter is an awesome handler. I wish I could get my kids interested. That would be so fun to watch and it'd be nice to have company at the trials. Is it just me or did he slip...

    How often do you trial?

Less than once a month here. I'd happily trial every other weekend but it's hard enough to get out and deal with the wrath of my DH, the agility widower  Hopefully when my kids are older it'll be less guilt inducing. When we do trial, I usually only enter one day so that I'll still have...
