  • Thanks, Sheltilover. Yes they did do a clean catch urine sample at the vets. They will do this again in 2 weeks, along with a pre-surgery blood test. Then when we get these results we can decide the next step. I am worried but deep in my heart I know Kia has to be fine because she certainly doesn't look, or act ill in any way. Thanks for the special message it's very appreciative. Hugs to CeCe and Yourself, from Kia and me:yes:
Yayyyyyyy! I'm so glad to hear that. I'm glad that the vet you like is back as well. It always helps. I was so concerned b/c she is so young! Great news!!
LOL! I am cracking up over here. I found that if I just follow Zoe around and don't tell her to go potty, I can usually get the ladle right under her right when she starts to go! I hope you can get the sample from her!! Good luck and I'm sure your neighbors are a little crazy themselves...... you just haven't witnessed it yet!
Wow, 21 days is a long time. Zoe has only ever been on meds for 10 days at a time. The stool trouble could be from the antibiotics, you might want to call and see what you can do for that. I hope things are getting better.
Thanks for asking Shaun, I should be able to take a urine sample in next Thurs. It was a 21 day antibiotic, (Does that seem like a long time?) then they will do another urinalsysis to see if the bladder infection has cleared. Then we will check for kidney problems. That is when I want the full renal panel done. The only change I see in CeCe is that now she is having trouble pooping (I should probably have said defecating but, what the heck), could that be from the antibiotics? I just wish this was all over and I knew what to expect.
Hi! I just wanted to check and see if CeCe is doing any better since she has been on her meds for the UTI. When is the next trip back to the vet? Hope things are going well. Have a good day!

    Shaun
