10.18.09 Open Session: Dinner and Drinks

If it's all you can eat, I will have sample every thing you have on the menu! Gimme a beer to start and I am off!

My name is Lori. I am (mumble) years old. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest--the fabulous state of Oregon. I have resided in Texas for the last 13 years after meeting my husband down here when I was on my college internship for Sign Language Interpretation. My screen name--"Lahree" is the phonetic spelling of how "Lori" is pronounced with a Texas drawl--Lah-ree. :smile2: In a twist of irony, I lost most of my own hearing and can not hear well enough to do sign language interpretation any longer. :( I now work as a health information analyst. I have had Shelties since 1980. Ellie Mae is my third Sheltie. My family consists of my husband, Richard (aka "RG") who is professional Blues musician and Ellie Mae and our wonderful kitty, Zoey.

Hi Lahree,

I would have sworn you had a legal background the way you put together some of the legal-eze you have used in the S.U.B.U.

Have some chips and salsa, I think Janet brought it in and Chris brought Madelines

Randi.........there is still plenty............

May I ask what take4roll10 means if it is not too personal?

sure. I majored in film production in college, so it's a film making reference. If you've ever watched behind the scenes footage, you'll notice that before they film a scene, a crew member holds up a black & white clapboard (aka slate) and says "Scene 7, Take 12, Roll 3" and then he claps the board. This is done to sync the film and sound. I hope this makes some sense lol

I thought that was what it referred to, but I was never sure what they were saying when they snapped the clapboard!

Thank you

Ron & Jan,

Thanks for inviting us to your dinner party. The food and company are wonderful. We're going to leave now, as we're going back to work tomorrow for the first time since Honey's passing. To everyone else, pleasure talking to you all, and we'll meet again at the next social entree.

Good night all.

Good Night Ken and Jan........peace be with you.

Thanks Chris, we will just sweep most of this up and do the rest in the morning............Have a good Night. Thanks for dropping in.
