1st Summer! Oh the FUN!

Oh my gosh! LOVE all your fantastic comments!

Julip is our 1st Sheltie, so we have no idea what to expect as far as looks, personality etc. BUT wow we have not been disappointed. Adore everything about her!

I'm a girlie girl, so I appreciate all your - gorgeous, pretty, beautiful, cute, fluffy etc. comments on Julip. I look at her and can't believe she's ours! :yes:

Guess her bigger structure was a definite advantage for us (breeder saw how big she was getting at 9 weeks & knew she couldn't be a show dog) Yay, for us! Not sure if I'm measuring exactly correct? (& with all that fur!) But believe she's 16.5 now (so too big for show) But would surely WIN all the beauty contests in OUR eyes! :biggrin2:

And yes its working out REALLY well with the kitties. Iris adores Julip! Literally rubs up into her all the time (pics on Julip's main webpage).
Its taken a few more months with Fern, but they are good now too (not like Iris - but get along :wink2:)

I bet she has a Fall album ... And a Winter album .....and

Julip is a very pretty girl.

I made Beau a promise never to dress him up in clothes, so, he does have to put up with me singing. singing is embarrassing enough
 
I love it! What a wonderful idea. She is simply gorgeous and must attract so much attention on the streets :yes:. She looked like she enjoyed her summer!
 
She's certainly lived up to her promise to be a beautiful girl. It's awesome that she is gorgeous inside and out. Thanks for sharing her first summer with us.

the pic of her in the floral sundress actually isn't hers - we just tried it on her at a local doggie festival. It was precious on her & fit perfect! But we refrained from buying it.
I do believe in coats though to keep pets warm. However, I can see where a Shelties coats must do that job pretty good all on its own! But who's kidding who - I ALREADY have 2 new lovely coats to fit her this winter! :smile2:

Yes, going anywhere is extra fun - everyone wants to know "what is your dog crossed with?" I feel like we need to pull out her FULL Sheltie papers to prove she's a pure bred Sheltie! Too funny! Hubby & I are both chatty social folks - so we enjoy all the random stranger interactions.

With out getting TOO sappy ... but I truly feel like we've been blessed with the most wonderful gift with her. One we appreciate & adore every second! :yes:
