3D Sheltie model

In case I gave a false impression :ROFLMAO:
Here is a failed super Spitfire. This printed on and off for over a day. For some reason extruder #3 keeps jamming. At first it was some poor filament, poor tolerance then jammed on the reel as the winding was incorrect and it locked. Then I swapped to a better quality for the supports. Jammed once as I had to reset tension on the feed (I had changed it for the low quality stuff) Then it ran fine for hours. Went to bed and it was jammed again sometime in the night. As I was trying to fix it for some reason the entire system faulted and reset. So I had no way to continue....

But here is super Spitfire next to the first one. No head but you can see the size. I could go a little bigger even still but even successful he would be a 24 hour print.

And Super Spitfire attempt two fails. Major storm killed power and he is also missing a head. Lesson: get a little UPS for it. During the storm the Orange Horror was also running berserk. Then he peed in the house! Needless to say he and me are not happy......oh wait he is snoozing as now he does not need to go out and the lightning has stopped so HE is happy.

looks pretty cool- better than the plain orange:yes:
Yep but I was really disappointed that the one side was basically black. If it had been like the other side or even face OK. Oh well probably not do one that big again as that took a long time and was troublesome. Oh and it would have been better if I was aiming for a mahogany like someone you had instead of the Orange Horror. Just too much black. Though now all y'all have me wondering if it changes print to print with the dual color....

So I got a Spitfire going at 150%. I made some adjustments and starting to figure out the new printer. It will be interesting to see if the brown/black mix is repeated or random. Next up I will either make an Ian or Sca. Sca should be easier and I have photos of him. Biggest thing that will add realism is putting his freckles on his nose. Ian will be difficult to get close with his merle.
