I will never be successful in getting all 6 into one shot, but I did get a picture of 4 of them:
Daisy, on left, was a longtime foster, who I placed into a loving home, but she returned to me when her Mom died unexpectedly. I couldn't stand to place her again, so I adopted her.
Piper, was surrendered by a breeder of show Shelties, and my first foster dog (also my first foster failure
)
Tres, was an owner surrender. I adopted him before I started volunteering with rescue (he is the reason I decided to get involved). What an easy, breezy boy he is!
What can I say about Jonesie Dream, that she wouldn't say about herself? She's bit of a mix, I tried to place her 3 times, and she came back 3 times (very quickly I might add
). . . She was confiscated in a state ordered raid on a hoarding situation. Kept in a kennel her whole life up to that time, she came in with her nose rubbed raw (trying to escape the kennel I assume) and weighing only 10 lbs. Anyway, she decided that she was not about to be adopted out, so Jonesie now has her forever home, where she rules the roost!

We have many times ended up keeping fosters that no one else wanted and they have turned out to be some of our most wonderful doggies.
