A continuing Sca-ga

McKinley wants the puppy in the oven to come out and play.

Mirrors don't get him anymore, but the reflection in the oven window, he can't seem to get past. I think it is because he knows there is space behind the glass.

He just stands and stares at it for the longest time.

Oh my heavens! Trapp does this to.Never did it until I got my new stove at Christmas time. The glass is alot larger, and he will actually stand in front of that door, and keep looking, looking! So cute

Phebe doesn't pay much attention to the mirror any more, but the TV. :rolleyes2:

Last night we were watching a program about a litter of African Wild Dogs. Of course the squeaking and barking got her attention and then she started watching. At one point the juveniles were harassing an adult leopard. When the leopard finally had enough and trotted off the screen, Phebe went into to the hall bathroom that's on the other side of the wall from the TV to look for the leopard. Or, maybe she was just thirsty.

IF there was ever any doubt (I mean a Sheltie against a wiener dog :rolleyes2:) Sca takes first in the graduation relay. He smokes everyone. Of course then he went into brat mode and was not paying any attention.

Get ready to say ohhh!:

Last night Sca got to be a free roamer in my room. He started by pacing a bit but then settled down on one of my dirty sweatshirts for a snooze.

He did good and later moved to his new bed with no destruction caused. I did close the closet since he has a mild shoe fetish and the bathroom to prevent nose surfing for kleenex :rolleyes2: and made sure there was no socks available.

In the morning he was a bit upset that his sheep wakes so slowly and needs multiple snooze alarms. The first time he got in the way as I crossed to the alarm clock but the second time he was out of the way realizing that I was only about 25% awake and staying in his bed for a couple more snooze alarm cycles was safest.

wow, I'm impressed he stayed out of your bed and didnt wake you up at dawn before the alarm went off. Mine have only recently stopped doing that - or sitting on my bed staring at my face waiting for my eyes to open, or smacking my alarm clock in an effort to make it go off. Mind you, the moment I stir I get sloppy kisses so I have gotten very good at staying very very still...

ohhhh! :biggrin2:

Sca must be feeling all grown up since his graduation. Congrats on the full night's sleep, and now that he's all rested up, hold onto your hat!

Me too! Chinook is the one that will stare at my face - amazing how that works to wake me up  and Maia is the one that will kiss my face or as of late, she will come and want to be let under the covers! All before the sun comes up
