A continuing Sca-ga

Yeah, well I am still scared to death of the wine cellar and the mud room in the basement. And the stairs down to it..........:eek2::eek2: I just can't get past my fear of it all. Thank goodness I am not required to go down there. I look in from the back yard at the cellar door and sniff around but.............I don't know, it is just a weird place.

MMM

Oh and puppy class was thin this week with only 4 pups and not Sca'a buddy Stewie . Sca had some competition but remains one of the best behaved guys. We did an exercise where the trainer holds him on a 30ft leash and I walked to the other end of the aisle. Then she lets him go and I call him. The first time he did so-so but at the end got a treat. We looped back (his leash walking continues to improve) and waited for our turn to come back around. Well this time he was super enthused and did the coolest little bounce down the aisle. I wish I had it on tape, it was a combination happy dance and look at me prance  I think someone figured out there was food and a his sheep on the other end.

So far he sits like a rock, shakes great, is still so so on down (lie), is a champion at coming (though normally he follows me so that is going to be a rough train), is 40% on leash walking, stay is very mixed, don't jump up on buddies that want to pet him :uhoh: Not bad for a couple of barbarians. Oh and he has been trained to get on the chairs real well now....

Oh and this morning Mr Stairs are scary decided that snuffling the garage floor was just too interesting and starting going up and down the stairs :smile2:

When it's time, it's TIME!

Phebe's never had a stair thing. Good thing, since we live in a 2-story house. She's been playing on the stairs since she first came home at 12 weeks. Our backyard also has an upper level with a flight of stairs -- the joys of having a house on a hill with a view.

We went up to deliver Spot the black german shepherd his Chirstmas present. A sample pack of black on black so he can be pretty. Well it was game on since no customers were at my brother's shop. They had a great time but Spot kept mouthing Sca's neck (he is harmless and friendly) so Sca was soaked and his new leash is dirty from dragging it on the cement  Christmas they get to play in the yard though were Sca can burn him with speed
