A long overdue hello

Darren, how nice to hear from you and that naughty Monty. I am glad life is basically going well for you and yours. Like you I have been mostly absent for the past year dealing with a move and husband's declining health.

On the doggie front we are down to just 3 which seems like an empty house for me. We lost our tiny Yorkie, Miley, last August to cancer and so now it is Laddie (shelite 5), Panda (pommie 6) and Riley (mixed breed 13, who came into rescue with tiny Miley). We all miss your tiny lass, she was one of the gentlest, quietest and sweetest dogs I have ever had...she loved everyone including loud ram rambunctious kids and dogs of all sizes...just loved life in general.

So great to hear from you Trini :hugs. Life tends to throw so many things at once which get in the way of everything.I hope your move is going OK but sorry to hear about your husbands health, sending hugs and Monty licks across the water :hugs

Aww Sorry to hear about little Miley so sounded like such a special little girl! At least she got to live her best life with you and the family!
I jut can't believe Laddie is 5 :eek2: where have the years went!!

We'll be thinking of you and I hope you get to come on here every now and again and say hello!

Oh Darren, we've REALLY missed you and Monty, and the girls too. Welcome home! Your post had me laughing again right away. You always describe everything so vividly.
We lost our beautiful Tri girl Faith in October to brain tumors. We were lucky to have her for almost a year post diagnosis. She had just turned 12. We were gutted.

Then Faith's breeder decided we were too sad, so she showed me photos of her friend's two Sheltie litters and of course there was one who grabbed me right away. Juno is now 7 months old and keeps all of us on our toes! A new one never replaces another, but simply expands your heart. Elijah and Meadow like her as well.

Sounds like life is super busy for you but post when you can. :)

PS Mr. Broccoli is Meadow's second favorite toy still, after her beloved pink plush ball.
