Amputation

Wishing Diva well, so sorry this sort of unfortunate accident had to befall her.

Still - take heart by remembering the first rule of amputations - they upset the owner far, far more than they bother the patient. - Dr. Mac
 
Keeping Diva in our thoughts and prayers, Chris.

I'm certain she'll be a fantastic therapy dog and inspiration for our wounded warriors. It sounds like the perfect new life for her.

I put Diva on my prayer list.

I believe the Lord will use her for His Good Purpose, and that she will become an awesome service dog!

I agree. The patients do very well. Good luck Diva
 
Sally the tri-pod wasn't bothered one bit by her missing leg (front leg). The only reason we had to have her put down was because she had a genetic disorder that involved ligiments, tendons and bone, so the extra stress on her hind legs was more than what her body could take.

Go Diva! :)

Keeping you all in my prayers. It will so special to the vets to have a "wounded" warrior visiting them - it makes a connection for them.
 
Prayers for all involved and as all have said pets do better than their owners and of course will be a great therapy dog to Wounded Warriors...I'm sure you will be a good mentor.
