Angus is missing

BIG UPDATE!!!!!!!!

OY fripin gosh....

I just got an email from a lady,I a talking with her right now. This is her email to me~

I live in Franklin and at our recycle station they have a sign up that someone had found a Sheltie on Sanderstown rd..I dont know who has it but you may want to contact the Animal shelter here, perhaps they know who has the dog..The sign was still there yesterday when I went to the dump. I hope it is the dog you are looking for! (removed phone number)..if I can help you in some way, call me.. I am home most of the time..

She told me she has seen the big yellow poster in another location, and will go first thing in the morning to get the phone number off the poster, and will call e at work.
Lets keep our fingers crossed. It is a 35-40 mile radious that he ay have traveled, fro his last episode, but anything is possible with a sheltie, that is lost.

Everyone say a prayer tonite.

I'm continuing to pray that Angus is safe and will soon be home.

It's great to know that someone we don't even know cared enough to pass on information that may bring Angus home.

I agree with everyones suggestions but at this point its something that JANET needs to do, in the end its her dog and its up to her what her next move is to find angus. We can suggest the have a heart trap, canvasing the area with her other dogs, making phone calls, setting up lost and found pages, but in the end its Janet who knows the area and she needs to be out there looking for him. Im sure if one of my dogs was missing I would want michele out there helping but its so hard with limited information and the sheer distance to anyone in the area who actually doing something. Everyone on this forum is doing this search virtual and long distance, its obviously not working, as Angus slipped though the cracks once already. The need to have a point person in the area that can do the actual leg work, calling shelters is great but if you dont put a face to that phone call its going to get shuffled under paperwork and it did and look what happened. If people see actual people looking for a dog its more likly to make an impression. I know there is a missing Golden in my area, these people have been VERY visual and it makes the residents in the area look a bit more carefully.

I dont know I guess im just frustrated with the lack of actual physical searching going on. and like Michele said if it was myself id be out there moving mountains to find my dog, calling in sick from work or whatever it takes to get them back home with me!

Keeping my fingers crossed!

This woman PM'd me on facebook. She probably saw my post on one of the news station's facebooks. She may have PM'd a bunch of us. I'm not sure. Unfortunately, when I first saw it I forwarded it to Ruffles' owner because the woman's hometown was Key Largo, FL and in her PM, she didn't say which state. So, now I feel bad. :( As soon as I realized she actually meant Angus, I contacted Michelle and apologized to Judy (Ruffles' breeder)

I was just coming on to see if anybody saw the post on Ch. 13's Facebook page. I'm a bit slow..but glad to hear it's already in the works. Hopefully it is Angus. If it is...this boy needs to never be leashed to a regular collar again... Let's just get him home and worry about the rest later..i.e., going back to the home that lost him in the first place.

Hey girl..let me tell you,by the time I get done with Amber,if I have to get police to her home to answer my messages..I WILL BE HEARD!And she had best be giving some good answers to questions.
I swear I'm am so beyond upset with this woman.

She will not ignore me.I intend to have my say with this woman, she had better get off her duff, and respond to phone calls. If shes not,and I get a song & dance about working..well that means **** to me.I work ,everyone works...but this dog was one she hinted and wanted to give a home to,and if shes not doing whats nessassary, she does'nt deserve him back.

I have just called Janet with the latest news.I anticipate a phone call in the morning.I'm sure at this time,it may be shut off for the night.(10:34pm)

GREAT NEWS!! I hope and pray this is Angus...if it is I can go pick him up if needed??? Angus can stay with me or whoever Janet wants until she returns.

Michele--I will try and find that women on here and send her my number. I am leaving out of town this Sunday for a week but will be around until then.
