Angus is missing

I got goosebumps reading that post on the found sheltie...oh please let it be Angus. I agree I would be out there day and night searching, not sure how I would survive since I am pretty sure I could not eat. I think it would be a great idea to take his parents to his missing places, worth a try. When does Janet get back? Have you heard from her? Angus Come.... Come home.

Keeping my fingers crossed!

This woman PM'd me on facebook. She probably saw my post on one of the news station's facebooks. She may have PM'd a bunch of us. I'm not sure. Unfortunately, when I first saw it I forwarded it to Ruffles' owner because the woman's hometown was Key Largo, FL and in her PM, she didn't say which state. So, now I feel bad. :( As soon as I realized she actually meant Angus, I contacted Michelle and apologized to Judy (Ruffles' breeder)

Thanks for being so helpful with both Ruffles and Angus. Also for constantly checking Craigslist for any sheltie listings.

You are awesome, Randi.

BIG UPDATE!!!!!!!!

OY fripin gosh....

I just got an email from a lady,I a talking with her right now. This is her email to me~

I live in Franklin and at our recycle station they have a sign up that someone had found a Sheltie on Sanderstown rd..I dont know who has it but you may want to contact the Animal shelter here, perhaps they know who has the dog..The sign was still there yesterday when I went to the dump. I hope it is the dog you are looking for! (removed phone number)..if I can help you in some way, call me.. I am home most of the time..

She told me she has seen the big yellow poster in another location, and will go first thing in the morning to get the phone number off the poster, and will call e at work.
Lets keep our fingers crossed. It is a 35-40 mile radious that he ay have traveled, fro his last episode, but anything is possible with a sheltie, that is lost.

Everyone say a prayer tonite.

Prayers said. Fingers, toes, and eyes crossed that this is a solid lead and Agnus will be home soon.

Michele, I have to agree!

Hey girl..let me tell you,by the time I get done with Amber,if I have to get police to her home to answer my messages..I WILL BE HEARD!And she had best be giving some good answers to questions.
I swear I'm am so beyond upset with this woman.

She will not ignore me.I intend to have my say with this woman, she had better get off her duff, and respond to phone calls. If shes not,and I get a song & dance about working..well that means **** to me.I work ,everyone works...but this dog was one she hinted and wanted to give a home to,and if shes not doing whats nessassary, she does'nt deserve him back.

I have just called Janet with the latest news.I anticipate a phone call in the morning.I'm sure at this time,it may be shut off for the night.(10:34pm)

This woman has not to me proven to be a worthy person to send Angus back to when he is found. She has not seemed to show enough compassion and desire to help us with finding poor Angus. She is the one that is closest and should be out there finding him. I know I'd be out there searching!!
I hope and pray that this latest news proves to be Angus !! Please St. Francis, St. Anthony and St. Jude , intercede on behalf of all of us on this forum and Facebook who are so worried about Angus's well being. Please guide him home to the safety of his family. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen

I agree with this too. Had it been me I would have been out there everyday searching for him and posting lost dog ads all over the city and internet. It would have been me going to the shelter each night AND calling WHILE at work. And I would have done that even if for some reason I didn't intend to keep him, I'd consider it my responsibility since I was the one who lost him in the first place!

No...the person that found Angus (who is in Amber's neighborhood) reportedly called the Waynesville shelter who said that there had been no reports of a missing sheltie. So after she'd had him confined in her barn 5-7 days she sent him to SheltieBoyz, who then placed him with her friend. Angus then pulled loose from them on Monday evening.

So the shelter did NOT assist in any way in sending on the information that we were searching for Angus. This is in spite of Amber going there in person multiple times, emails and phone calls from me, phone calls from True's mom and Michele, calls from my friend Teresa....

So Angus is still out there with the bears and panthers and coyotes when he could have been back here or at Amber's house (she does want him back).

Here we see that Amber's neighbor was the one who originally found Angus.

This is a good lesson for all of us.....door to door ie. face to face is an excellant way to locate your pet. If Amber IMMEDIATELY got out there and started hoofing it and went through the neighborhood knocking on doors (I think the statement about being shot is a bunch of crap) and talking to people, Janet would NEVER be in the situation she is in now. And if Amber followed through...she would probably have been able to get help from people to do the same.

Singing in the road may work....but if Angus was already inside someone's house, it is useless.

Humph............
I am frustrated, can you tell?
