Yeah that is my concern too, especially when the cold and snowy days hit. Not to many people like to go out in those conditions, but it has to be done for the sake of the dog. But I really hope they stick with it, he is not a bad dog, just active.

I got a phone call last night saying it just isnt going to work out
She said he was fine until Thurday the first week home then he started to go downhill with his beahvior. She said he is good on the weekends when he is not crated all day, but on work days when he is crated for 10 hours his behavior is bad, even after walks. She said even with the halti he is starting to lunge and bark at cars again, and he has started to revert back to chewing on things, like the table legs. He is also growling at them when they try to put his collar on. So they feel its for the best that he finds a home with someone that is more suited to his activity level. He will be coming back on Sunday. So dont mind me if I go temperarily insane; with 3 dogs under a year old, 1 of them being in heat at this time!

That's exactly what I was thinking. So many people wouldn't be able to make that decision and wouldn't have gone to such lengths to try and make things work. I'm sorry things didn't work out, they sound like a really nice family.

I kind of thought that might happen. At least now he can find a good active home with someone who understands his activity level and won't be leaving him up all of the time like that.
