Bambi the sheltie who looks like a deer

You did a wonderful job helping this little girl. I had to smile when I read about her new family - I agree, they sound perfect!

A month or two ago, I met up with Bambi and her family again. They come for almost every sheltie gathering we organize which is great!

She's being pampered to no end (she will only eat salmon now - expensive here!, went through a phase where she would only eat duck, and her people just give in to her every desire!). She would actually go to people for cuddles now! No more running away like before.

Thought I would post a picture of her back then (looking like a deer), against what she looks like now, with her fur growing out and all.

Oh and here's one of Tinkerbelle, the other sheltie that was rescued with her! She has also gone to a great family with a young daughter who wants to be a vet when she grows up!

I do love doing these before and after pictures. When you see the transformation it only drives home the point that all it takes is love and kindness to turn the ugly duckling into the swan that it was always meant to be.
 
Ah - they are just beautiful now. Thank you to you and their owners for taking them in and loving them like you do.

What a transformation in both of these girls. I also love the before and after pics. Thanks to all that gave these pups the second chance they so deserved.
