Beautiful sable Ohio pound left behind - Moe

Moe is safe!

Found out today that St. Clairesville has Moe, he's in great shape, and they're taking adoption applications and seem to be very picky about his future Mom & Dad. What a relief! He'll be just fine, I'm sure.

St. Clairsville Ohio just called us and they said to put in an application if you want Moe. He is still there!!!

Moe is safe!

Anyone interested, please fill out an app online at www.bcarl.org it takes you to the application process.

Kate

Thanks for the information! I am going to merge this thread with the other one about Moe so that they are all in one place.

I wonder if they'd allow someone from CA to adopt him. OMG, he reminds me so much of Miko (in expression). I want to hurt the people that left him behind. I mean come on, there are rescues out there, do the dog a favor and give it to them.

I want to hurt them too, that poor little dog! Obviously they just didn't care at all. How in the world could anyone... I just don't get it...

Thanks Kate and Danny's Mom for helping this sweet little guy.

Moe update again

Hi All,

I heard back again from the shelter at St. Clairsville Ohio and they told me again that they are considering all placements for Moe.

Doesn't matter where you are from, if you have the love and the time just fill out the application.

It is hard not to sit in judgement on people who would do this to an animal. That being said, there are so many scenarios that might have happened to him, to Moe and this is one that I love. So many lovely people to share his story and help to make it right.

My mom was married eight times. I went to four high schools in three states, shuffled between mom and dad, who really did not want my presence. I have had two forever dogs, a german shepherd for 12 years, and my Anna who I had for 11. Children and dogs are not dispensible, they are family to be protected and loved. I never had children, but I have made stong committments to my dogs. I just cannot comprehend people who leave a dog behind. It angers me.

I hope Moe finds a great home. It tears my heart out.

Moe is young and beautiful and he will find his forever home soon. What REALLY gets to me is senior dogs dumped at the pound. So heartbreaking. They were in a family for a long time and it just doesn't seem right to get rid of them like that. I want to scoop them all up and bring them home with me.

Two days later, I am still angered by this. But you are right, the senior dogs who are dumped are really sad....I would like to adopt them all too....

Thank God for the rescues who get these dogs, and put them in loving homes, even if they stay in a foster home the rest of their days. They are given love and good care.....

I am sure many here would agree a pet is a lifetime committment, for the rest of their lives. I know I feel this way.
