Bentley hurt

Thanks all for the well-wishes!

iliopsoas or a gluteal muscle strain or tear. Does he have issues pushing off going up the stairs.

Lyme /anaplasma or cruicate are the first things I think of.

Hope it isn't something serious.

Thank you for that information. Hopefully the vet won't be too annoyed when I mention all these possibilities!

Anyways, I just tested him on the stairs and he had no trouble running up--hopefully that rules that out?

The physio gave me a couple of stretches to test if Tully should be doing a trial/comp since she did her shoulder and back. One is to check the shoulder region - putting one hand under the elbow and another on the lower part of the leg I stretch her leg forward and it should go to her nose easily. The other is the same concept on the back leg. I'll try to take a photo of them.

Hugs, pats and kisses to Bentley. Love the name!

Oh Ashley - how is Bentley now? Poor guy. I'm sorry he's hurting. Hopefully nothing too serious. Give him a hug from me.

Bentley is acting fine. We are trying to limit his activity, but he is acting like nothing is wrong. No limping, no favoring his leg, etc...

We are taking him to the vet this afternoon (5:30) so hopefully we'll know more then.

Thanks for asking!
