I heard they give them in the arm now. Thank goodness the dog was vaccinated for rabies! No treatment for dogs!

I don't know why people worry about all the poisonous things in Australia - we don't have giant cats that come into your garage and try to eat you or the dog!

This story happened in my neighborhood this week, when a bobcat attacked a dog and followed the dog into the garage and attacked the dog's owner. I have bobcats here frequently, and had been told they're generally not dangerous. I'm rethinking that theory! We've also had a coyote chorus yipping and howling in the woods behind my house all week at night. Geez, the bears go to sleep and these guys take over. It's gotten so I'm afraid to let the dogs out!

Geesh! Are you out in the country Ann? You've got bears, coyotes and bob cats!! We only have cayotes

Well we do not have such large wild animals
it is rare we see a fox - it is enough for me

That is scary, residents in my area has seen them around here. I hope they do not
come on my street. I did have a sick raccoon on my front porch, and wild life people
came and removed the animal, it couldn't hardly breathe. A bobcat is worse, and yes
that is a big one.
