Can't remember if you give Sub Q fluids at home or not. If not, might be worth a trip to the vets for some fluids, might want to add some B12 too. Check his gums to make sure they are nice and pink and not tacky or sticky. Pale, yellow or red/blue gums are cause for concern and you should call a vet right away. Since he is older and a kidney disease dog he might need a little through this.

Actually, wrong dog. That's Miko with the K/D. Koji is the one with the fleas. I checked his gums though, they're nice and pink. So he's hydrated. I just worry about him right now.

De-fleaing the house. I put DE on my fake sheep skin looking toy/animal (don't ask, it's a kids toy/stuffed animal thingy). As I was putting it on, I found a dead flea on it. On the upside, at least something is working.
Washing all our bedding. I hope warm water is good enough because everything says wash cold or warm. I don't want to ruin things. Fingers crossed it works. Vacuuming is a bit hard when my house if full of boxes. Hopefully, I got most of it.
Miko hasn't shown any signs of being bothered and I have no clue how I'd check his tummy anyways. He won't let me flip him. Sigh. On the upside, he lies on the sheep thing, so maybe the DE will get on his belly area and kill anything there.
Koji is doing a lot better, but still biting. I need to check him, but for now, I'm trying to do a house cleaning. Put DE on my couch. Koji lies on it, so hopefully it'll get on him too. Will vacuum again tomorrow too. Sigh. What a PITA!!
And both boys got another Capstar. I'll give them another one in a week. Give any lingering eggs a chance to hatch. Gross. And do a recheck. I guess I'll know it's better when Koji stops biting at himself.
