Chris, Forever In Our Hearts

So sorry for your loss. Praying that God's Peace will ease your pain. Chris sounds like a great friend.

So very sad to read of your beloved Chris' passing. It is hard when we release them to go to the Rainbow Bridge and it does feel like the emptiness will never subside. Know that you are not alone in your grief. Praying for you and sending hugs.

We are a emotional and sympathetic group who LOVE our (and others) Shelties whit all our hearts. My thoughts and prayers to your family in this difficult time. I hope you find another sheltie; they help the healing soooo much.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. It is truly comforting to know that such a wonderful Sheltie community is here for support. I know there will never be another Chris in my life, but I will have another wonderful bond with a new Sheltie companion in the near future. They are so amazing, smart and willing to always be there for us. Maybe sometimes things happen in our lives to lead us in a new direction. Maybe to lead me here to a wonderful group of caring Sheltie lovers that feel as I do. Thank you for being here.

So many of us have walked in your shoes, and we know it's never easy, but you did the right thing. You saved Chris from suffering and let him have a noble end. I know he's waiting for you at the bridge. :hugs
