Colon Cancer

Michele and I are in contact with Becky thru Facebook and emails; she is unable to get on the forum right now for various reasons. They are completely heartbroken at losing Dakota; particularly her father. Its so sad that we have these tremendous giving shelties for such a short time, really. Its hard to let go.

I find these posts so difficult to respond to sometimes--I get wrapped up in the grief. I guess that's one of the things we all have in common. My sincere condolences to Becky and the family on the loss of Dakota. Seems extra hard at this time of year....

I havent been on here long enough to know each of your beloved pets but I KNOW what it feels like to lose one. My heart felt prayers go our to Dakota and family

It is very sad to hear any of the sad news, when we loose one of our fur babes. I to find myself tearing up,as we all know how hard it is to say goodbye. Especially so this time of year.
Give your shelties all big hugs today. And pray that St.Francis is watching over all the shelties that are lost from thier owners, and those in rescues & shelters.

Becky, my condolences to you and your family, particularly your mom and dad. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. As Barb said, it's a blessing he didn't have to live long with the pain and now he's running and playing, pain free, at the Bridge.

Dakota is now running free with all of our animals that have already gone on and are eagerly waiting for us to join them. I find it a beautiful thought that when I die my beloved Golden boy Tyler will be at the Rainbow Bridge playing and running somewhere, stop what he is doing and just come running with such excitement and joy to see me!

Becky and Family,

I am so very sorry on the passing of Dakota. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family at this time. And for your dad, a special prayer goes out for him.

With love from, Mally's Mom/Denise
