Here is Beckon in his new Ruffwear Flagline Harness. This is absolutely the best for a rear leg amputee. There's a wide belly piece that runs the length of his body to provide support when I lift on the handle. Plus, he doesn't have to try to balance on two legs to put it on. The four-way clip system means just pop it over his head, snap him up, and away we go. He's able to go up and down the deck stairs slowly with support.

At night, I've been wrapping the good Colonel's neck in his rakish scarf to remind him not to lick his incision.

Beckon's biggest issue is his irritated testicles. The vet gave me a steriod ointment to use on them and on the shaved area. Unfortunately, he's had a reaction. I've cleaned it all off him and applied aloe vera. I hope that helps, but he's been sitting and lying down very gingerly. :no:

I thought I knew about all of ruffwear's harnesses..I guess that is a newish one. I love the clips on the front range (it slips over his head, and then 2 clips around his middle) cause we don't have to balance! But no handle....might need to take a look at that one!

I love the smile..... and ALWAYS more pictures!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that FACE!!!!!!!!!
Beckon has the absolutely sweetest face and expression... he just melts my heart!
So great to hear how well they designed that harness!
