Colonel Underpants Update

Chris, So sorry to hear about Beckon's illness progressing, but I know he is getting the best of care and hoping his blood work comes back okay. Does the thyroid and high cholestrol have any thing to do with the disease? Very encouraging that he is in no pain and can move around easily. Hugs to our Colonel.

Chris, I'm so sorry to hear Beckon's illness has progressed. :( I hope he remains pain-free and comfortable for many, many years. Bailey sends hugs and kisses to you and the Colonel. :hugs

I did not know he was having issues! Sorry to hear that, but glad it is manageable, and he is in very good hands.

So sorry to hear that the condition has progressed. Paws crossed for the blood tests. Keep us posted. Pets and belly rubs.

Sad to hear Colonel Underpants' condition is progressing, but happy to know he's not in any pain. If you guys ever venture down to Texas A&M, let me know! I'm about an hour and a half away.

Dang! I used to go t visit my Godsons -- both Aggie Corps alums.

Thank you all for the kind words -- Colonel Underpants sure appreciates the support. He's especially grateful that no one thinks he should be medically retired. I don't think the thyroid issue is related to the myotonia. The high cholesterol should come down when the thyroid starts responding to the medication -- which he started last night. We're counting our blessings big time!

I am so sorry Chris, sounds like there is a plan in place and there will be many
more years together. Sad to watch these little beauties decline, but the vets seem
they are up on so many different situations.

I stopped at the Southpaws booth at the Pet Expo, and one of their Canine Neurologists was there. She heard me mention Beckon and said, "I know Beckon! He's famous!!!" I was so proud!!
