Costumes...honestely?!

No costumes here, DH just won't have it, but bunny ears and reindeer antlers and Santa hats do get stuck on pet heads, if only for a minute or just long enough for a picture. We dress up one of the cats at work and he tolerates it pretty well. We had another cat who lived at the vet hospital a few years back who loved to be dressed up...he would strut around in the stuff and come up to you if the costume needed adjusted. He would also hug clients when they needed a hug. He died of lymphoma 2 years ago. Sorry ,I know that is off topic cause he was a cat, but he did love to be dressed up. Sally looks humiliated so the pics are sorta sad, but the cat looks like she is gonna murder me :dead:
 
I have never dressed Miko up. The closest he's gotten is posing in front of a pumpkin. LOL. Koji however, got dressed up. Mostly because he's a PITA and that's his payback from me. And because there was a costume contest at my first agility fun match. I figured, why not, might as well join in on the fun.

I will say this though, some people go way crazy and some people have absolutely awesome ideas. Remember Smudge and Fluffy? Awesome. I love seeing her themes.

People do it, so you might as well stock up some in your store. As to how much, I dunno. Because I always see a LOT of stock leftover in stores (big box and family owned) afterwards. I'm talking, LOTS and LOTS leftover.
 
I think I'm going to go easy on the costumes....I need to put in the order this week. But I need to have just enough inventory. This is my first Halloween so I want to stock appropriately. I figure if I bring in some items now (e.g. samples only), then anyone that wants one can order in time. (I hope!)

And I think the boys are going to have to go on the payroll....and be models.....Yes, SUBU, they will be appropriately compensated.

Sorry boys.....you know I hate Halloween, but this is just to keep you in kibble! :hide
 
The agility trial Edan and CJ will be at the weekend before Halloween has a costume and crate decorating contest. So, yeah, the pups will be dressed up for the fun of the competition - hopefully as a pirate couple and the crate as their pirate ship.

They will be more than properly compensated by us. We'll negotiate what is fare with them so we don't end up under a SUBU complaint for improper compensation.
