Cranberry in AL

I wished I could get a good clear picture of Jasper, cause there more grey & white on him seems like every day.

was going back through the puppy thread to look at the early pix of Jasper- he was definitely the lightest/reddest of the bunch. and I found one of Janet's posts:- couldn't quote because the thread was closed. Post 161
"I need to take some macro pictures of Jasper to get some professional opinions. When I was cutting nails under my bright craft light I noticed...Jasper has little islands of darker fur among his bright sable...so I do believe that PhebeDD gets her wish and I do have a sable merle boy.

so you agreed that you thought Jasper might be a merle but no one else did.

kinda looks like some paler spots there on his side. anyway, maybe he is :wink2:

That first picture is awesome. I love his eyes/face too! If you cover one side of his face, then the other, it looks like he could be two totally different dogs :)

He looks great and with his face split he looks like two different dogs. I can't wait to see what he looks like as an adult with those beautiful eyes and his coloring.

Not to rain on your parade, but that sounds really close to Smudge's measurements when he was around that age (he's now 17 and 1/4 inches full grown). The Cran man is looking nice though! I like his blue eye, too.
