We had a bit of an incident yesterday so the cast is now off. The vet nurse said I could let him walk around the house as long as it was a confined area. But he decided to join Tully barking in the back yard and hurt his left leg. The specialist checked it this morning and thought he didn't do too much damage, but she didn't want to put the cast back on as his legs are quite irritated. Stitches are still in though.
I'll have to get a photo of his legs - talk about scrawny, sheltie bodies were never designed to be seen naked!
Kitty hasn't returned. I think now she won't (altho I still go out looking 3 times a day). It's too cold for a skinny little thing to survive for long. The vet had a couple of young rescue cats waiting for adoption. Tully was really drawn to them - esp the female who mewed just like Kalypso. I guess Tully does miss her kitty.
