Diva's day in Waterloo

Now that is dedication. I can imagine the air ringing with the sound of force dryers as everyone tries to get their poor dogs dry. What a trooper Diva!

Congrats to Miss Diva. That sounds like just awful conditons and she rose to the occasion and did her mom proud. Look forward to hearing about today.

Classes are split puppies 6-9, 9-12, 12-18 however ive heard though the grapevine they are also going to do a 12-15, 15-18 class...what a waste IMHO but I digress

I think division of the puppy classes is up to the discretion of the club. Yes, they added a class, and yes, I agree it's a waste. One of our local clubs does a "puppy" class which is 6-12 months, then the 12-18 and so on.

Same with the Amateur-owner-handler and Novice classes, it's given at the club's discretion.

Congratulations on doing so well despite the weather and potty problems

Sometimes it is days like these that make the shows the most memorable!

Thanks for updating us on how Diva did. Sounds like she fits her name :biggrin2:

Update from our second day. Luckily no weather issues or potty issues today. Diva was alittle more "squirrelly" as Rachel says. She had alot of energy. I had a harder time focusing her for rally but by the time she went in she was doing pretty good but not as good as yesterday. She ended up getting her second RN leg with a 95 and 1st place. Woo hoo one more to go.

Here is the video

She showed pretty good in breed but was slightly in race car mode. We been working to slow her gaiting down so her movement looks better. She really does move well, but gets so excited. She looked better yesterday but again too much energy she has a hard time moving slow. I was so proud of her as I was worried about the transition from Rally to Comformation in such a short time span. But she looked straight head ,stacked nice and didn't sit. I didn't have to help handle her and that was good. She didn't get the points today but got Reserve Winners Bitch. Good girl all weekend.:smile2: I was fluffing and holding several dogs so no video.:(
