Do I get a bed or not???

Hubby did a wander around Costco today and decided to have a look at the beds I was talking about. He thinks it is just too big for the living room so it looks like the beds will stay at Costco!:biggrin2: On the other hand, I have this idea in my head for a home made bed that I think I may work on this weekend!

Zak has a nice big bed that I got from Fosters and Smith and it is big enough if he wants to streatch out. Some nights he sleeps in his bed and some nights he is on the bathroom tile floor or in bed with us. He starts out with us then gets in his bed, sometimes he just puts his head on it for a pillow.
I think it is important for them to have a bed.

I have a few dog beds but mine prefer either the furniture or ... pillows! And pillows on the furniture is simply the best!:lol:

Seriously, the best dog bed I ever purchased was a $10 24" x 24" pillow from IKEA (this pillow actually lives on the couch). They also love our memory foam pillows or the throw pillows. Who needs to spend $50 on a dog bed when a cheap $10 pillow makes them happy.

The New 'Bark-O-Lounger'

After much looking and a lot of indecision I finally decided to try and design a bed for Mikos and Brie. They both tend to be stretchers when they sleep so I needed it to be oversize sheltie long, but not too wide. Using some big cushions that have been kicking around, and a duvet cover from the 2nd hand store I finally came up with a prototype.

It may be a success because Mikos prefers the floor but tried it out as soon as it hit the floor!!
