Do you have a sheltie toy box.

I've been using an old dog bed which is too small for Romeo. I pile all the toys in there and he rummages through it to get what he wants! I sometimes "bury" a pig's ear in there somewhere too, as a surprise!

I just use a rubbermaid bin for my dog toys. btw it's shih tzu :biggrin2:
Yep realized that later but the way he was acting my spelling was better. Sca wanted to play soooo bad and he just got up on something and hid. At least this time he acknowledged he was there instead of the faked ignore.

I use a basket too ... the size you'd use for magazines etc. I have one downstairs and an old basket upstairs. They leave the downstairs one alone, but every dog we've had has chewed pieces of the upstairs one off! Good idea about the bitter apple, Barb...wish I'd thought of it oh, 10 years ago...

Its funny that this thread poped up the other day. As a matter of fact, we DO have a sheltie toy box. In every sense of the word

We saw this at a second hand store a week ago and HAD to buy it. Excuse the quality of the photos, the lighting was very bad:

Having one that the girls could help themselves to wasn't ideal for us, as they like to remove everything at once. This way we can chose a number of toys for them.

When I read the title of this thread, all I could think was, "Yes, we call it the house." Actually, we have two baskets in the morning room. They all know how to tug out favorites. But with Beckon still in the chew phase, we tend to leave toys all over the place so he always has one handy. So far, he hasn't chewed anything but a sock or two. :biggrin2:

A shame about the lighting....the pictures are just adorable! Fantastic box! Would love to find one too!

I love the box, and I love the sheltie in and out of it. My friend bought me one, its a needlepoint with doggies all over it, and has aluminum handles and frame. They love to rummage through it.

We have a toy basket, but it got relocated to the front room during the last litter of puppies and hasn't re-emerged yet. So....toys scattered everywhere right now
