Dogs only need meat??

I know a lot of you folks feed raw, but does anybody else just gag at the thought of this? It's all I can do to clean a chicken breast for myself, let alone throw it outside for Gus or Dee.
I'm not against "raw" at all, but I personally can't handle it. Let me open a can, dish out some kibble or cook all kinds of meat for the furs kids and I'm fine.

My mom laughs at me now. The things I do for my 'babies'. I used to be like that too - could not touch raw meat. But for them, I'll do anything - really, just about anything. So yes, I got over my grossness of it and feed raw to my pups. I think it is along the same lines of changing a dirty baby diaper. I gag and cannot do it - I don't have kids of my own. Everyone says, when they are yours you get used to it. I am sure if I did, I would be changing them diapers.

Honestly, I have a bit of a hard time even with the canned or kibble... but I think I've cooked meat maybe twice in my life and don't plan on ever doing it again, so feeding raw meat just is not going to happen in my household (sorry!). I have a hard enough time watching the person in front of me at the grocery store checkout buy beef.

What's so funny is that I'm a major carnivore and cook. Bring me anything--beef, bison, pork, lamb, goat, deer, chick or turkey, and I can cook you up a dish. Add in any kind of fish or shellfish and I'm there.
It's the "raw" issue. I can handle it for me, but feeding it to the kids is gross.
Funny: Did a BBQ last summer. Friend comes over with gorgeous GSD. I'm grilling major steaks and chick when he asks me to put my kids in the house so he can feed "Sarge." He throws out raw chicken necks and backs on the deck. I about lost it. Ruined my entire night just thinking about it..

Deska used to always have his snout in the horse food troughs until I started giving him oats in his own diet. Tell him he isn't meant to eat it. Chicken food is also a bit of a delicacy. But top of the yummy vegetarian things to eat is rabbit and roo poo - all based on organically grown grass (lol). Obligate carnivores my butt.

its a damned if ya do damned if ya dont scenario.
High protein is bad ..unless its high quality meat (no dog food meat is THAT HIGH QUALITY).good protein is easy to digest bad protein will harm kidneys!!
LOW PROTEIN is bad .. too many grains unnatural to your dogs diet. low protein will cause your dog to have weak muscle mass and bone structure!!
SCREW IT ALL.. Snickers and I are joining a gym tomorrow and I will max out my credit card and buy the best damn meat on the planet. There is a bison ranch near here ... I may go buy an entire buffalo .. we will eat like kings !!!
