Doing a little happy dance

It feels so good to help out a neighbor, especially when it involves Shelties!

Long story short as I can make it: A couple a few streets over also had two shelties, breeder retires. Husband dropped over dead from massive heart attack about 6 months ago, then the male sheltie had to be put down due to rare spinal cord condition a few weeks ago. That's a lot of loss for one person to deal with IMHO. No children, and remaining Sheltie is 13 and got depressed after losing her life long buddy. Koko's breeder decided to find the right home for one of Koko's sons, Boomer, age 5. I hooked them up and Sunday Boomer came home with her. :biggrin2: We went over to visit and I took a few pics.

Click to the right to see the other two. They looks so much alike its hard to tell Koko and Boomer apart from a distance!

"Matchmaker, matchmaker..." :biggrin2:

What a great story. I'm so glad that you could help make this match, and bring some joy and Sheltie love to someone who is having a really hard year. And, how cool is it to have a Koko kid in the neighborhood!

Big Kudos to you for helping your neighbor in her time of loss. What a great story...and lucky Boomer to end up in a loving home. :smile2:

Great job Margi, WTG! Sheltie love abounds and you are right, I had a hard time telling them apart. I know your friend and Boomer will thank you for years to come for hooking them up just when they needed each other. :hugs
