Earnhardt's diagnosis is cancer

poor Earnie, I am so sorry to hear this news. I think of you guys and I hope you know he had a great life.
May his remaining days be full of sunshine to sleep in and many a treat to eat

I've been down this road too many times to mention as most of the dogs here were bred by me, lived their entire lives with me and then were sent to the rainbow bridge to wait for me.
I get through it by realizing that I know how much love and caring they got their ENTIRE lives. That's something that a lot of dogs out there don't get.
It doesn't make the diagnosis or prognosis any less painful but maybe it will help you because you know what I know - the quality of the live he has had and the love you will give him by giving him the gift we give at the end.
I hope you get many days of his presence before he too leaves to wait for you.
Please tell him that we are all sending comfort to him and his people.

I'm so sorry. :cry: Poor Earnhardt... I am sending good thoughts to Brian and you.

Earnhardt will let you know when the time comes for him to watch over you guys in a place without pain. May plenty of bright and happy days fill your lives together for the next months.

Wishing you and Earnhardt good days to help with the bad, and courage for you to send him away when it is time. Gentle and loving, he could not be in better hands. {{{{{hugs}}}}}

I am so sorry, these are the days I know you would like to shut your hearing down. I feel so bad that you had to hear these results, terrible disease for dogs and humans.

May Earnie enjoy the rest of his days, and I know you will cherish everyone of them. Its an honor to have such precious pets in our lives.

Ya know 9 years ago,we were first married, just beginning our lives together, and we never thought this stray dog that was left at the house would become such an important part of our lives.

It was a beautiful May 27th morning, that we witnessed 7 beautiful puppies come into the world. And one special chubby puppy "spoke" to me,and said I want to stay here with you.

He has givin us so much love,he is a gentle soul that has surely endured some real sheltie antics. He has been herded, yapped at and yet he would hold his ground and say "I'm the boss". But do it in ever so gentle ways of just a low grumble.

I guess in many ways he is and will always be the axle of this home. Brian has been very quiet. I am worried.
I know that Earnhardt will let us know. For now,we love & enjoy him each and every day.

Oh Michele my heart aches for you and Brian. Dear Earnhart, I have always loved hearing about him. I am truly sorry for his diagnosis, and hope he will still have some good days with you, and that when the time comes he slips away peacefully, fully knowing how much he was loved.

Hugs.
