Ember's first Agility show tomorrow

Congratulations! What a pretty girl. She looks like she is very careful when she runs; she is one that will get the job done.

She reminds me of a very, very tiny show jumper. :smile2:

I couldn't have asked more from Ember. She ended up Qing in all 4 of her runs with 4 clean runs, 3 1st and 1 2nd. She now has 2 NA and 2 NAJ legs and needs 1 more of each for her titles.

Congrats on a great weekend!!! I just saw this as I was trialing myself and figured I'd read through to see how you guys did. Awesome! Again, congrats. Are the nerves gone now?

Congratulations!!! What a wonderful accomplishment. And you were worried! I had not doubts here that you and Ember would do very well.

Thanks for posting the videos for us to see. Ember is beautiful!

That dog is a thinker! Despite of what you make us believe, LOL I like how you directed her what a great little dog :)
That was so great to watch! Thanks for sharing!!

Oh I know Ember's a thinker. She has turned into a great little dog. I've said before she is probably the smartest dog I have every had and with Justice around and Diva being no dummie either that's saying something. She just sometimes thinks something different then what I'm thinking. :wink2: But when she is working she is all business. I have to be very careful to not get upset even with myself or she reads that as she did something wrong.

Are the nerves gone now?

My nerves got so much better after our first run. Agility is so much better then obedience. Once you start running you don't have time to think about anything but running, your dog and your course.

Utility for the first time with Justice was 9 mins of torture. I was so dizzy from the adrenline rush and lack of oxygen from not breathing I don't know how I made though. My mind was a hundred places it didn't need to be as I waited for him to do his stuff. It took a good 6 months to get use to that.

I was never worried about Ember but about me.:smile2: Now had I been running the contact seeking missile Diva, I would have been nervous about her.

Congratulations! What a great start to Ember's agility career!

Bentley was also slow and steady at first, and really has picked up speed. He'll never be the fastest sheltie out there, but if I go back and look I realize he's really moving for a dog that tends to be "careful".

Congrats! It sounds like you had a great weekend!
So, Peter was there this past weekend? He's such a nice guy. I can't believe in the video how much Ember looks like Dutchie, except in blue.
