Honest Kitchen has a new kibble...chicken and oat and beef and oat with impressive ingredients. It smells great and both River and his vet like it. (The vet doesn't eat it LOL)

There are also quite a few premade raw diets available in the freezer section of quality pet stores. Some are actually quite affordable as well. I personally don’t feed my dogs any carbs including oatmeal. I do all jerky treats and raw veggies. Carbs (rice, potatoes, corn, oatmeal etc) convert to sugar and sugar is bad for dogs and will cause weight gain, as well they can make it difficult for the dog to lose weight if they’re overweight.

If she's still in business, My doctor told me about a woman who has a business making dog healthy food she makes herself. She makes treats too. So tomorrow we are going to her shop to see what she has. Yesterday was bath day and he's still scratching! Today my Doctor comes to the house and hubby goes to Costco. My vet said rawhide wasn't good. Don't get that... Because Luke loves it. Happy well fed furbabies is the goal here. But it's hurricane season and we need to have kibble that will keep without refrigeration because if we get a direct hit we can be without power for days. Although the generator will run the fridge. While we're evacuated the fridge won't be running. Price you pay for living in Paradise love hugs and kisses to you and your furbabies!

I buy an alternative to rawhide…it’s dehydrated cows ears and lambs ears. My dogs love it and nothing bad added to it.
I’ve heard about spirulina as an additive to food. Helps with GI and digestive issues as well as allergies. Worth checking out!

Tomorrow I go to get my hair washed and shaped! The first time since the pandemic began.i am okay at keeping Luke trimmed and bathed and so forth. However I am really lousy at cutting my own hair lol. Luke got his bath yesterday I think having some style back to my hair will make me feel a bit better too! Love and hugs and a big Bark from little Luke
