FERGY IS GROWING

FERGY will be one year old come December 27. Guess I will have to start a new "Channel" for him.
Simply one delightful Sheltie. As I have said before he adores wife and youngest daughter. Mom sits in her lounge chair in the evening knowing she is going to receive a flying bundle in her lap sooner or later. FERGY allows me to love on him some and is immediately downtrodden when I correct him. In fact he won't even look at me until I make very special effort to console him.
Laddie and him are constant brothers and best friends. So much enjoyment from watching them love on each other and play so hard. Very little distance between them at any time.
Hope everyone had a fantastic and MERRY CHRISTMAS plus a Happy and prosperous New Year. We have been very ill for a couple weeks. Began as stomach flu and developed into what the Hospital decided was my Heart Failure. Cardiologist said they didn't know what they were talking about. One very glaring fact stood out about my stay of four days, they wanted me to stay longer and do as many tests as they could come up with so they could charge the insurance.
Some very good nurses and Techs tainted by the "DOLLAR".Mom and FERGY 2024.jpg

Been awhile! We have actually overcome the NoroVirus I think. FERGY is a jubilant, happy, and almost "Lovey" companion. One of my younger brothers has been fighting various types of cancer for years and is close to being tethered to a lounge chair or bed most of his life now. We take FERGY to visit once in awhile. Yesterday FERGY was at his best. Shelties have a way with invalids and other just sick folks. He licked brothers hands and went to his wife and gave her that "melting" eye look then proceded to lie down beside brothers chair. Made all four of us feel "real good".
FERGY and Laddie are still inseparable and we have no idea what he may do if something would happen to Laddie. They both have time clocks in their heads. Always know eating time and bed time within a few minutes. FERGY is terrified of the fireplace and crackling fire wood. When I don't have it going he comes out of the bedroom where wife watches TV to visit me in living room and get some sweet talk and special caresses then back to the bedroom with mama.
Years ago I never thought about one or in this case two dogs who could replace the kids in the daily household of retired folks. They both like to cuddle to my neck in the evening especially and of course I just can't stand that attention. lol
Must do as I said before and move comments of FERGY and Laddie away from "Puppies".

Sounds like Fergy has grown up into a wonderful dog, it’s also great that Fergy and Laddie get along so well! I have two like that…Piper and Finnie who are 2 1/2 years apart and related through Piper’s brother (Finnie’s sire)…not sure if that has anything to do with it but they’re inseparable. It’s sweet to see a bonded pair and how deep they love each other.
