I do ears when the mood strikes me. Then they look like little kids who just got their bangs trimmed.

I have marked areas on MMM ears that I just don't know what to do with. How do you trim this area? Or don't you? I like to go both ways with trims. Sometimes I like the wilder, fluffy look and then I want pretty trimmed velvet ears.
I have feet trimming down and the poop chute works, but these ears!!!

YIKES!!! You don't touch that until later, when it gets so long that when you hold it straight out to the side, it is longer then the ruff. Please, I am available to trim him anytime you feel up to the drive. I would be very happy to give you a lesson on trimming ears.

How about waxing it and giving him a "handlebar-mustache-ear" look? It will start a new rage, all the puppers will be wanting it!

No, no, not at all. It is just if you trim that hair, his ears will look HUGE, and very funny. That hair gives the softness in the transition from his skull to the base of the ear.

I was just looking thru threads about ear triming,and came up on your picture. I was also wondering about this same issue,as Trapp has some funky hair along the sides of his ears.
So I'm guessing to leave it then from what everyone is saying.
What about the front of the ear,does the long hair that grows in front get trimmed,or is that left also.
Trapp just has all this hair that is so much longer,especially on the sides,the is growing outwards.So I was just wondering.
