Gavin's Never Ending Dotage (Part 2)

my neighbors live above me with balcony overlooking my yard. no one better to help with peeping tom. and once brian showed up police weren’t needed. time moves so slow but it was probably over and done in under 2 minutes. i was concerned about my safety. not catching the guy.
 
Goodness, what a scary ordeal!!! Thank heavens for your neighbor. Would you consider a camera? I have Eufy's around our house. Got them as well as motion detector spots installed a few years back when one of our kids was in trouble. I use them as well to creep on my chickens.... :) I like them because they run on my wifi network, the base has storage (new one anyway), and don't require a subscription. They do need charging every so often. I had my daughter install them in her college apartment, she had them indoors but pointed out so they would catch sight of anyone comining in or out the doors. Inside, they can't get removed and she could run a cable to an outlet for charging without moving. My outdoor ones I have up high and got solar panel chargers for them.

Glad Gavin was okay, but what a fright for you!
 
I have cameras inside, but not outside. To point them out I would have to open my blinds at least a small amount (always closed).
I also don't know condo association rules on these things...outside is a different beast.
Something to ask my landlord about.
I just looked on amazon this morning and they aren't expensive.
don't know how preventative they are, this guy obviously didn't look around too much.
One would think after he tripped the lights he would have at least looked for cameras but he went straight for the window with a 2" open blind.
 
Gavin exploded today. Poop all over the living room, and then he vomited. Took over an hour to clean him and it up.
poor guy doesn't feel so well :(

at emergency vet. she thinks gavin is near the end, maybe even tonite. mass in his abdomen. i’ve noticed it for a while, she says it causing problems. i think she’s gonna advise i put him
down
 
my heart is breaking… he’ll be gone in an hour or so. he’s uncomfortable and his nose is ice cold. vet thinks he’s bleeding internally
