Gavin's Never Ending Dotage (Part 2)

He normally gets 1/2 a CBD treat in the morning and 1/2 at night. I gave him an extra 1/2 around 1AM (so all decently spaced). I've never noticed anything before, and he hasn't had any since noon (8 hours ago). I think its more that he didn't sleep much last night. hell, I'm tired from being awake listening to him be restless.

looked it up. half life in dogs is about 4 hours (shorter than in people due to their faster metabolism)

I just want him to wake long enough to go pee, drink some water, maybe eat a bit.
he does look super comfy in his bed, tho.

he just pee'd and is eating now. then on to some water before bedtime (which is the same as the rest of the day)

It's really something caring for our seniors, isn't it? I can hardly get used to not doling out Beckon's 17 pills a day and carrying him and Layla up and down stairs. Of course, little Asher is hitting me up in the sleep deficit department!
 
Gavin is laying next to me on the couch, with his head in my lap. as long as I am petting him all is well. But as soon as I stop, even if my hand is still resting on him, he lifts his head up to look at me. He really is getting spoiled, demanding I keep petting his head! this from the no snuggling dog :P

that's the best when they are that close to you and you can keep petting them:yes:
