Congrats on your new puppy! What made you decide to go from a GSD to a Sheltie? Just curious!
 
Hi Zavala, and welcome to you both. Jewel is a real doll. I now just have 1 sheltie boy, named Buddy--he's the 4th sheltie I've had. He's about 9 1/2 months old now.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.

I live in California, but probably not close to you. I live in a small tourist town, just North of Yosemite. Not much population here, but nice and pretty.

Can't wait to go home and look at the pics :) I am sorry I cannot view these photos right now, as it is DRIVING me crazy, I want to see puppy pics!!! But I am at work, so sites like photobucket are blocked, go figure! :wink2:
I was just going to add to the about the person behind the name thread lol, but my own stuff is on photobucket too, do'h
At least I can access these forums while working as I treat myself to this forum for stress relief! :biggrin2:
 
Is that an Air Kong Donut I see her chewing on? Tully looooooves her Air donuts - they are her favourite toy. I had a puppy one I got in a puppy pack and she loved chasing it so much she became an addict. And as Jewel has obviously found they are good for chewing too.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!

Jewel had a visit with the vet yesterday so we can get her some medicine for a very light runny nose she has. but all in all she is doing fine, very playfull and still eating healthy.

It amazes me how smart she is.

The reason why i went from a german shepherd to a sheltie was because my girlfriend is very fearful of dogs so i told her about a sheltie and she seemed ok with it, and now that we have her she fell in love with her and just cant stop thinking about her.

for all you southern cali people i am in the city of west covina.
