Heat Index of 105 and climbing

Yup, as Ann said - it's going to be HOT here. Woke up this morning to soup outside, eeewww, so much humidity it 'rains' at times. Looks like we are in for an early walk this morning and then most likely none until Saturday. I won't take the puppers out on the pavement if my bare-feet can't handle it - no sidewalks in our neck of the woods.

I can imagine…we’ve almost broken a record for most days above 30 C..I think we’re at 30 days so far and summer isn’t over yet.
I know working when humidity is in the 90’s is a killer!

If it will help, I'll happily take some of the heat off you all. We've had our hottest day for over a month and that was only 20C/68F

It has actually been a cool summer but it always gets hot here. It is heat index 106 now and you can sweat going from an air conditioned car to door of work.

Actually, not bad. Liam is a bit nervous but not half as bad as Laddie was. However, last night and this morning a thunderstorm lightning strike was so loud it woke all of us up at 5:30!

Wow those are some storms and power outages. I'm pleased the boys are not to bad with the thunderstorms at least. I hope it all passes over without causing you any damage or frightening the boys too much, take care!
