Hello from Central Florida

Thanks to all for the very warm welcome! I am going to call him Cody and yes, he is my first boy. I am getting him from Himark Shelties and he is adorable!

Welcome to the forum. :smile2: Cody was almost Justice's name his registred name is Code of Honor but I decided to keep Justice(born on 4th of July weekend). His half sisters sire is from Himark. Love those shelties.:smile2:

My little sable boy will be 6 weeks old tomorrow and I will be able to go back and get him on April 10. I am counting the days, but meanwhile am trying desperately to relearn and remember all the puppy information and challenges. I have learned so much for all of you and hope to continue to enjoy the flow of information and beautiful pictures you all share. Thanks for filling my sheltie needs until I get my little boy home.

Kathy

Your newest will benefit so much from your years of familiarity. We lost a sable and a tri last fall that had been with my boyfriend for 15 years. We just adopted a tri-color-headed white (except for a patch of black on his rear.)

Any way, I'm a newbie to the forum too. Welcome aboard!

Welcome and Congratulations on Cody! Bet you can't wait until April comes.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the boy.

ohmygod you just got to LOVE those puppy pictures!!
How can you stand it? the cuteness must be overwhelming, honestly!
Gosh what a little fluffball!

We looked at Himark but she did not have any tri's in the making so we kept looking. Danisgoat Dandie is a Himark puppy, how neat.
I am finding that I just love having a male and our 13 year old is being very good with him. I like the name Cody and will have to take a look at him.

Kathy he is just adorable, I bet you can't wait. I know how I was before we got Zak, I had a few sleepless nights over beign so excited.

Welcome to the group. I too live in Central Florida. I'm in Lakeland. I have three scamps of my own and currently I am fostering ten shelties for Mid FL Sheltie Rescue. We don't get many puppies in rescue so I'm afraid I'm not a very good source for information on puppy raising but I'm sure there are a lot of folks here that can lend you some very good advise.

Welcome to you and your little boy Cody!

Thanks. He is so sweet and adorable. All the way home my sister kept looking at him and telling me that he was the cutest thing she has ever seen.
