Hello from East Coast Canada

aww Duncan looks like an Angel, if that is him in that pic!

Thanks! That is Duncan at six and a half weeks old. Now he is almost ten weeks. I need to get an updated pic on there! He has grown quite a bit, though he is still a wee little thing.

Welcome Toffee's Mom. I love your description of your Toffee. Did you forget to say "barks a lot" or is Toffee that one in a million Sheltie who doesn't voice his opinion loudly and clearly:uhoh:.

Hi Everyone,
I am Toffee's Mom from East Coast Canada.

Toffee is a little over one year old, sable, handsome, saucy, smart, lovable, cute, hungry, fox faced and my very first Sheltie. I have had him since he was a 'baby' and love to spend most of my days with him, if I am not at work. God, I wish there were more places where you could take your dog to work!! We should all start petitions, guys!

The posts I have read here are informative and helpful, yet I keep laughing at the similarities and quirks that this awesome breed seems to have, for example I kinda thought Toffee is the only dog who loves the wind, lol.

I am glad not to be the only Sheltie nut around ;) I can't get enough of them.

Toffee's Mom :)

We're all totally gaga about Shelties. I mean, we sit around watching 10 minute film clips of Janet's puppies rolling around on the floor. And we think it ought to get an Academy Award! Trust me, you and Toffee are in the right place.

You said it! I don't watch regular cable TV, I watch Sheltie TV!

LOL
Thank you for jinxing me ;)
I thought he was actually a fairly 'quiet' Sheltie until very recently... he has since started to always put in his last word!! Even when I say 'No Noise' he continues barking and then grumbles and huffs... hehehehe, and smiles! But I have been somewhat successful in stopping him into going into the full tilt spin&bark frenzy... Knock on wood... but he still voices his opinion, lol
Just not as much as other Shelties we know and love, but he is only a year old.. so give him time to get even more spoiled ;)
