I thought I recognized that title and my husband found it in one of our bookshelves as well as How to be your Dog’s Best Friend. I am reading both of them, so thanks for the recommendation. And a late hello and welcome from Northern Virginia! I have Layla, who's 15 and still going like a trooper, though she does spend a lot of her awake time searching the house for Dr. Who's TARDIS. Then there's Beckon (see left), aka Colonel Underpants. He's a tripod who's living with managed liver cancer. Finally, is Penny, aka Penelope Rose. She's my husband's service dog. Oh, and my sister has Loki, a Papillion, who's the irritating brains of the outfit. (Sorry, gang, but it's the truth.) Scout looks like a delightful handful!. I recommend the book The Art of Raising a Puppy by The Monks of New Skete. It's our puppy bible!
