Hello from Gulf Shores,AL

And a late hello and welcome from Northern Virginia! I have Layla, who's 15 and still going like a trooper, though she does spend a lot of her awake time searching the house for Dr. Who's TARDIS. Then there's Beckon (see left), aka Colonel Underpants. He's a tripod who's living with managed liver cancer. Finally, is Penny, aka Penelope Rose. She's my husband's service dog. Oh, and my sister has Loki, a Papillion, who's the irritating brains of the outfit. (Sorry, gang, but it's the truth.) Scout looks like a delightful handful!. I recommend the book The Art of Raising a Puppy by The Monks of New Skete. It's our puppy bible!
I thought I recognized that title and my husband found it in one of our bookshelves as well as How to be your Dog’s Best Friend. I am reading both of them, so thanks for the recommendation.

That book has been a godsend with Blueberry (as well as Piper and Finnie)! She’s been housebroken since 3 1/2 months because of that book! Just tonight, she’d been out for her last pee and 45 minutes later she started barking at me. Asked her do you need to go outside? BARK BARK BARK BARK:lol::lol:
Out we go and she had a good pee...I don’t miss the days when she didn’t tell me!
