Help Save Zippy Texas

Thank you to you wonderful caring people out there, looking out for Zippy helping to find him a loving home for the rest of his life.
God Bless you all.

and our two angels at the bridge.

I am happy for the update on Zippy...ASR calls the foster dad "St. Glen" because he is wonderful with the dogs....My heart is smiling because I know Zippy will spend his last days with lots of attention, wonderful care, and an abundance of love....:biggrin2:

That is perfect. Zippy is truly blessed in his "golden years".

Yay, hooray, yipeee! Thanks to Danny'smom for getting the ball rolling, and thanks to all who helped.

Mike, thanks for the updates on Zippy, he has been on my mind. I'm SO happy he's safe, and being cared for. It gives me faith in humanity which is sorely tested at times.

May Zippy have a wonderful future ahead.

Quick update on Zip

Zip is doing well, but sits at the front door of St. Glenn’s home waiting to go for a walk with his friend that also got dumped at Lockhart animal shelter. Not sure..., but I gather the previous owner may have dumped both his dogs. I hope to get more on this. As they said… ‘Gotta love people’. But Zip is doing well, he barks, wages his little tail when his new dad comes home, and loves to go for a ride in dad’s truck.

Please…, all…, continue to pray for his heartworm condition. He finally has his second chance, to know what it is to be in a loving home, and he deserves this after twelve years of nothing.

Give him this second chance Lord.

Hugs, Zip.

March 20, 2012 quick update on Zip.

Just a quick update on Zippy’ progress. His new foster dad is doing some remodeling and Zip loves to go to Home Depot to get supplies, maybe because they always stop at a dog friendly restaurant to hang out on the deck and get some good eats. His foster dad also doggy sits and Zippy loves the company. Everyone loves Zippy!.

Zip still coughs when laying on his side (heartworms), So still waiting for the 30 days of the current meds before Zippy starts on the next set of meds to kill the HW.

I’ll include one new pic here in this post but I have a lot new pictures of Zip, so I set up an ‘Album’ on my Sheltie Nation home page to keep all of Zippy’s updates and progress pictures.

Whenever I start to feel overwhelmed by life I just have to come to Sheltie Nation to see what Dannysmom and her "gang" are doing. You all inspire me sooo much. For all those sad, abused, neglected and abandoned shelties out there that have been given a chance because of the kindness of you all, please let me thank you on their behalf. There's a special place in heaven for people with your generosity of spirit.
