Colonel Underpants sir! Sergeant Stockings here. *wag, wag* I've set up a perimeter around our bivouac and with Layla's help arranged a mine field along any expected approaches to our position. The 3B's, biscuits, bacon and bologna, are safely stored away so none of the indigenous wildlife will tamper with them.
I've met with a local border collie who has relayed critical information about a safe crossing point a little further down river at a smaller, less guarded crossing near Ontario Avenue. I'm not sure if he can be trusted, but it may be worth reconnoitering, Sir.
