Pixie did the same thing with her first dose...she paced for the entire afternoon and then was restless all night as well. But after that she was fine. And when I put her second dose on, she didn't even notice it! I think it must be the smell that bothers them but maybe they get used to it.
Also, I didn't put it all in one place. My vet has told me it's always better to put it in at least three spots down their back, so that's what I do. It spreads out the coverage as well and you don't get the big grease spot.


24 hrs. of pacing and whining I could take, but Sadie has been pacing and whining for 4 days. I don't want her to be tortured by the smell. Perhaps she's just too sensitive to it?![]()
