How did you know it was time?

I can not tell you how true those words are...

My vet says that he loves and hates shelties all at the same time due to their stoic nature which makes it so difficult to help the client make that final decision!

I took advantage of an at home euthanasia company that helped with Mr Chance when he could no longer get up to get his food or get water! As horrible as the decision was for me, I was able to have a peaceful goodbye in the home that he felt comfortable and safe.

So many times it is a rush to the vet in an emergency situation that is so catastrophic when nothing more can be done and that memory hurts so much!

As pet owners, nothing hurts more than loss of our beloved shelties. My heart goes out to you! So many have reached out to help with words of encouragement, advice and support. I for one understand what a lifeline this site has been through these troubling times. Virtual hugs to you.
